This project by Mayfair Pools Manawatu, has completely rejuvenated an old concrete pool that had passed its use-by date.
The owners had already decided to replace the existing house, but chose to refurbish the pool with the on-site fibreglass system from Mayfair Pools. The new interior is in Beach, which gives the pool its tropical blue colouring. To enhance its visual impact, the pool features glass tiles around the waterline.
Mayfair Pools also added new steps into the pool, and created a children’s plunge pool with bench seating. The hard landscaping incorporates Bianca concrete pavers and large rocks and pebbles that provide a natural formation at one end of the swimming pool. This balances the angular lines of the two pools.
