“Our Titirangi property has a large (86,000 L) Mayfair, fibreglass swimming pool, the pool is approximately 25 years old. During the 2023 ‘Anniversary Floods’ our pool was inundated with a substantial volume of silt and organic debris, the pool could not be cleaned without being emptied.
During the cleaning process one wall and the floor of the pool succumbed to hydrostatic pressure causing a partial collapse and tear fractures of the fibreglass both on the wall and the floor. Although Richard was extremely busy at the time he arranged urgent temporary repairs that allowed the pool to be refilled to prevent further damage.
Richard devised a repair strategy for the wall collapse that saved us considerable expense, the full repair and refurbishment of the pool was completed in January 2025. Once again, although Richard had heavy work commitments, he scheduled the repair to be completed while we were on vacation, we therefore came home to a sparkling and fully functional pool.
Throughout the entire process Richard worked closely with us to ensure that our wishes were factored into the project execution.
The job was completed on time, on budget and with a very high level of customer satisfaction, it was obvious throughout that Richard is a very experienced professional with excellent customer and communication skills. “Richard and his team were a pleasure to work with as we converted our kidney-shaped vinyl pool into a fibre glass structure.
Richard made several visits to our property to discuss in detail the options available to us, before any work began. He clearly knew his stuff and outlined the challenges of our pool with proper real life examples, displaying his obvious experience and expertise at removing vinyl and replacing with fibre glass.
