A Simple Refresh

Though very happy with the overall design of their old pool, these clients knew that in order to enjoy it for many more decades to come this pool needed a Mayfair refresh, with a fibreglass lining to make it shine and stand the test of time.

 

“An old cracked concrete pool with crumbling plaster and drummy walls, needed some love!

The clients wanted a permanent product that would last for years to come. Fibreglass was their preferred material.

They wanted to retain the overall look of the pool and surrounds while upgrading to materials that would go the distance and require a lot less maintenance."

The skimmer needed to be replaced and we upgraded the lights with Spa Electrix retrofit colour changing LED's, fresh waterline and step tiles and new coping pavers. Installation of an Oasis i19 Inverter Heat Pump finshed off this refurbishment allowing the clients to add weeks to their swim season.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
