An iconic New Zealand destination – Tokongawa Retreat on the edge of Abel Tasman National Park boasts one of the most spectacularly located Infinity pools in the country.

Mayfair Pools Nelson had the pleasure of undertaking the refurbishment of this pool over the tourist off season. With the Owner living overseas, top communication was required to ensure smooth running and tight timetables were met.

Located on a challenging site with limited access and a local family of Little Blue Penguins in residence under the pool deck – it required a high level of logistical planning!

The 6m x 4m pool was finished in “Ocean Blue’” with new Bluestone drop faced tiles replacing the original concrete coping tiles and dated waterline tiles.

Workplace stories don’t come better than building in this stunning location!

Bringing the pool back to the quality finish required for such a luxury retreat is a project the Mayfair Team are understandably proud of completing.
