”When we were first looking at installing a pool my wife & I had quotes for four separate Pool suppliers and right from the start Mark and his team were leaps and bounds ahead of their competition. Their willingness to actually listen to what we wanted to achieve and provide advice based on this, not to mention their patience as we kept changing our mind on the pools location was something that made the process really stress free.

Given that we wanted our pool to be completely surrounded by our existing established formal gardens it made things more complex however, as Mayfair Pools can build a pool any shape & size it meant that we could have it seamless with the space. Josh was an absolute super star at managing the excavation & construction process and not one of out trees or hedges was damaged which was no easy task given the size of the pool. The site always remained clean & tidy which was important to us and we were kept up to date with the progress on a daily basis.

The ability of the Mayfair Pools Team to bring our vision to life was second to none and their attention to detail was certainly not missed on my part. To me it’s the little things like having all individually sized glass panels so as to fit between existing veranda posts, soft closing glass gates, matching the deck to the existing one so it looks like its always been there, creating a space for the cover under the deck so that we didn’t have to look at it & being able to decide on exactly where the steps would go along with the children’s walking ledge. Nothing was ever a problem – for example, the last minute decision to install additional tiles for access to the pump shed. Mark was also fantastic at dealing with the local council in relation to the fencing, there were quite a few hurdles to get over due to us insisting on the boundary fence being located on the outside of the existing trees & gardens so that we did not feel enclosed. Marks extensive knowledge and experience ensured that we got everything signed off by council no problems.

The end result is an absolutely stunning pool surrounded by mature trees, hedges & trees that looks like its always been there. I could not recommend Mark, Josh & the Team at Mayfair Pools highly enough for anyone looking to have a pool installed.”

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
