A designer with an eye for beautiful design and architecture, this client was after a very specific seamless mirror finish for her pool (without the price tag), along with a pool landscape that was sympathetic to the natural surrounds of the property and family home.

The landscape design was a true collaboration between the client, landscape architect and Mayfair Pools Taupō & Rotorua. The finished pool nestles effortlessly into the existing home and garden, creating a smart and stylish yet comfortable space to enjoy time with family and friends – or to escape for a swim, sauna, spot of pilates or a soak in her spa.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
