These clients didn’t want the usual “steps everywhere” like the pre-moulded pools – and they wanted a non-standard depth for the size. Once they realised they could customise every part of their pool with Mayfair, they quickly requested design features that would make this pool ideal for every family members’ needs.

 

These clients want a fresh, clean and simple design.

They wanted to look out of their ranchslider and have it feel like a breath of fresh air, and they didn’t want steps everywhere like the pre-moulded pools have. One big – deeper than average – swimming area with a small safety ledge for the kids around the outside was all they needed.

More of a ‘sit in the shallows’ kind of person, our client we wanted a large, shallow area for lounging in the water with a drink, and for younger kids and dogs to safely have a splash around. This was extended as a ledge to run the entire length of the pool for more seating and easy entry.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
