Surpassing Expectations
Being an architect, this Canterbury client had high expectations around quality and finish. The end result is n elegant, minimalist pool – with beautiful lines that are also functional and fun for the whole family.
Winner of the 2024 SPASA Fibreglass Pool up to $80,000 (Silver)!
Being an architect, this Canterbury client had high expectations around quality and finish. But with young energetic children they also wanted the pool to provide fun for all. The final design is elegant and minimal, with beautiful lines that are also functional – with a sloping bottom that starts shallow ledge and ends with steps and a platform at the deeper end. Making the whole pool more accessible for all ages.
Wishing to maintain the modern minimal look, the clients opted to minimise fencing requirements by creating a “moat” along the length of the pool. A beautiful feature that enhances the garden and preserves safety.
Excavation required an archaeologist on site due to the historical nature of the site, which was easily managed by the Mayfair team.
